• Town-centre ZTL: 11 camera gates

  Forte dei Marmi has two ZTLs: the town-centre one, active all year, and Roma Imperiale, summer only. In the centre ZTL, entries are watched by eleven camera gates, including Via Mazzini/Via Michelangelo, Piazza Marconi/Viale della Repubblica, Via Carducci/Via Giorgini and Via Idone/Viale Morin.

• Hotel guests in the ZTL: transit only, with a form

  Guests of accommodation located inside the ZTL may pass the gates without a permit sticker, but for transit only: the property must file the access request using the forms of Azienda Multiservizi, which handles authorisations for the Comune.

• Blue bays: €2 an hour, until 3 a.m.

  In the centre's rate zone A, blue bays are charged all year, every day from 7:00 to 3:00: €2 an hour or €10 a day. In the free-beach area, from 1 June to 30 September, it costs €1.50 an hour from 8:00 to 20:00 or €8 a day.

• Summer centre ZTL: weekdays 17–6, holidays all day

  From 1 June to the third Sunday of September, the centre ZTL applies on weekdays from 17:00 to 6:00 and on Sundays and public holidays for the full 24 hours; for the rest of the year the Sunday/holiday ZTL runs from 8:00 to 20:00. Hours from the 2024 ordinance published by the Comune.

• Roma Imperiale: summer ZTL from 15 June

  Since 2025, the Roma Imperiale summer ZTL and the summer one-way streets start every year on 15 June, instead of the Sunday of the last week of June; the summer rules stay until the second Sunday of September.

• Retractable bollards since 21 May 2026

  Since 21 May 2026, access to the centre's pedestrian areas (Via Carducci, Via Mazzini, Via Roma, Via Montauti, Via Stagio Stagi, Via Pascoli, Via IV Novembre) is controlled by retractable bollards: from 12:00 to 8:00 the next morning only vehicles authorised via app or remote control can enter, plus emergency and public-service vehicles.

• Via Carducci in summer: no parking 14:00–6:00

  Under the summer traffic rules, which last until the second Sunday of September, parking is banned on both sides of Via Carducci (from no. 18 to the south side of Piazza Marconi) from 14:00 to 6:00, with a fine and towing. Rule from the 2024 ordinance published by the Comune.
