Frequently asked questions
Palermo: how much does it cost to hire a car for a month?
From €750 for 30 days (€25 a day), Toyota Aygo or similar; median price €1013, across 29 offers read on October 21, 2026.
Monthly car hire or long-term leasing?
They are different things. Monthly hire is an ordinary rental: you book it for your dates, pay for those days and return the car at the end. Long-term leasing is another product: a 12-48 month contract with a monthly fee. This page is only about the first.
Are there mileage limits on a monthly rental?
It depends on the offer: in the 30-day reading 14 of 29 offers have unlimited mileage. The others have a limit, stated in the offer's conditions on the partner's site; extra kilometres are charged separately.
How much is the deposit on a monthly rental?
In the 30-day offers it ranges from €0 to €750, median €500 (29 offers state it). The rental company blocks it on your card at pick-up and releases it after the return.
Can I rent for more than 30 days?
Yes, with less choice: in our test on October 21, 2026 the partner's site also had offers for 60 and 90 days (Catania Fontanarossa Airport: 29 and 21 offers, against 67 for 30 days). For a longer period, put your dates into the search.
